It was named Pittsburgh because the industrial area reminded one ofPittsburgh, Pennsylvania and its famous steel mills. Pittsburgh is relatively poor and underdeveloped, but as property values rise inIntown Atlantaneighborhoods, many see hope that this trend will spread to Pittsburgh and bring renewal.
