Our History
Dawn Gray, the owner of 4 Moons Travel, remembers what it's like to be treated like a number at a travel agency. In 1998, she started her career as a travel advisor and rose through the ranks until she was confident to shape her new path forward: a travel agency to call her own.
In the spring of 2002, she opened 4 Moons Travel with a couple of her colleagues who knew they could trust Dawn to treat them like family.
20+ years later, 4 Moons Travel has prospered into a 7-figure travel agency and has earned elite status (a top 50 performer) under the Affluent Traveler Collection and Travel Savers consortium.
Our Mission
Not only do we provide a travel service of excellence for clients looking to immerse in global destinations, but we have nurtured a family of talented travel advisors who are truly cared for.
We have shaped an accessible and friendly environment where travel professionals can connect, cultivate themselves, and develop solutions for everyday obstacles.
Dawn Gray is always just a call away and she has made it her mission to advance the next generation of travel advisors who face a rapidly evolving travel industry.
The Travel Industry
Technology advancements heavily impact everything we do. Artificial intelligence itineraries, big booking platforms, social media influencers, and the Google rabbit-hole encumber travelers day to day with information overload.
In 2023, 70% of long-haul trips and 73% of cruise bookings were booked through a travel advisor. Additionally, a recent survey showed that 47% of respondents use travel agents for their vacations, and this trend is even stronger among younger generations.
Simply put, our technology is getting better, but travelers still yearn for human connection, professional advice, and a simplified reservation experience. So, travel agencies aren't going away and talented travel advisors are in high demand.
Qualities of a Travel Advisor

They have personally vetted and educated themselves on the travel products, services, and destinations that they offer to their clients.
