Canberrais thecapital cityofAustralia. It is Australia's largest inland city and theeighth-largest city overall. The city is located at the northern end of theAustralian Capital Territory(ACT), 280km (170mi) south-west ofSydney, and 660km (410mi) north-east ofMelbourne. A resident of Canberra is known as a "Canberran".
