Malmö, in the southernmost province of Scania, is the third most populous city in Sweden after Stockholm and Gothenburg.

Since the construction of theØresund Bridge, Malmö has undergone a major transformation with architectural developments, and it has attracted newbiotechand IT companies, and particularly students throughMalmö University, founded in 1998. The city contains many historic buildings and parks, and is also a commercial centre for the western part ofScania.
